Terms & Conditions

• All of our quoted rates are subject to availability and alteration.  

• Each guest must provide a Valid ID upon Check In.

• Remaining balances must be paid upon arrival in either cash or credit. 

• In the event of a no show, an individual or group will be charged the full amount for the stay.

• Our rates include Mama's Famous Crêpes for breakfast & fresh linens. 

• The Rising Cock is not responsible for loss, damage or theft of cash, jewelry or other valuables left unattended in guest rooms or on the hostel premises during your stay.   

• Beaches are public under Portuguese law. Therefore, valuables or personal belongings should not be taken to the beach, as their safety cannot be assured, nor does the hostel assume responsibility for these items. 

• The Rising Cock is not responsible for any drug or alcohol-related injuries.

• Management reserves the right to either ban or ask a guest who is acting highly inappropriate to leave the premises without a refund.  

• Should your group reservation consist of more than 12 beds, we reserve the right to charge your card in full prior to the arrival. 

• The Rising Cock Hostel reserves the right to hold guests liable for any property damage that they may cause during their stay. 

• Minors aged 16 or below are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult. 

• Our hostel does not provide customer parking. However, a secure parking garage is available 200 meters up the road.
