Bookings

I have never received a booking confirmation. Has my reservation still been confirmed?

If you have made your reservation through our website, we will send you a confirmation email once we have charged the deposit to your card (1st night of your stay) If you do not receive an email from us, please feel free to contact us. If you have used a third party booking site, please contact them directly.

I tried to book online, but there is no availability for my desired dates.

Don’t panic! We always save extra spots for last minute bookings and walk-ins so please write to us if your dates are not available online. We will do our best to accomodate you!

I need to add one more person to my reservation, what’s the best way to do that?

If you have used a third party booking system to make your reservation, you can modify your reservation directly through their platform. If you have made your reservation on our website directly, please just contact us and we will add the person to your reservation if there is space available!

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 2pm. If you arrive earlier, we do provide luggage storage until your room is ready. We like to party hard, so check-out isn’t until 12pm. Don't panic if you're hungover - you can upgrade to late check-out at an additional cost.

We have made separate reservations, can we be put in the same room?

Please contact us with the reservation names and dates before your arrival and we will try our very best to accommodate you. If we are not able to accommodate your group prior to your arrival, please notify us again upon arriving as we do sometimes have cancellations and may be able to put your group all together.

I have a large group that would like to stay in the same room, what is the largest occupancy you can have for one room?

The largest group we can accommodate in one room is twelve people. However, for larger groups we can provide alternative solutions. If this is the case please contact us.

Transport

How do I get to the hostel from Lagos bus/train station?

You can get a taxi/uber from outside the bus/train station to the hostel for about 5-7 euros. The hostel is a 15-minute walk from the bus station and about a 20-minute walk from the train station.

Is there any parking around the hostel?

Yes, you can park on the street for free or use the underground paid parking lot down the street beneath the mini-golf park (2-minute walk).

General

When is the Cock open?

We are open 24/7 from the 1st of March until mid November. During the winter season, we are closed but continue to respond to emails and any requests.

Do you provide locks for the lockers at your hostel?

Locks are available for purchase in our vending machine which you can keep and use for your future travels.

 Can I do laundry at the hostel?

We don’t offer a laundry service on-site, but there is a laundromat two minutes walking from the hostel as well as a laundry service which will wash, dry and fold your laundry for you.
