To preserve the natural beauty of Lagos, it is our obligation to implement ways of being eco-friendly and use all our energy in the most efficient way. We have added waste recycle bins in key areas, solar panels, eco-friendly toilets to reduce water use, sensor lights, and allocated smoking areas. We also feel strongly about supporting our local farmers here in Lagos so all meals at the hostel are catered with locally grown products.

As pioneers of the hostel industry in Portugal, we have chosen to use our experience and influence to promote social awareness. We regularly support both local causes and causes abroad including donations to the UN’s Nothing but Nets for Malaria nets in Africa as well as our local firefighters who regularly are called to duty throughout the summer due to the high Algarvian temperatures.
